Obama’s German Campaign Stop

While the 20th century taught us that we share a common destiny, the 21st has revealed a world more intertwined than at any time in human history.

That is why the greatest danger of all is to allow new walls to divide us from one another. The walls between the countries with the most and those with the least cannot stand. The walls between races and tribes; natives and immigrants; Christian and Muslim and Jew cannot stand. These now are the walls we must tear down.

U.S. Senator barack Obama campaigns in Berlin.

President Bush, Economic Expert

Wall Street got drunk.

There’s no question about it

Wall Street got drunk, that’s one of the reasons I asked you to turn off the TV cameras. It got drunk and now it’s got a hangover. The question is how long will it sober up and not try to do all these fancy financial instruments

The Land Where No One Cares

Everywhere you go to no one cares. No one

We’ve been everywhere, and it’s really bad when you’re calling shelters and the shelters don’t have any family places for you to go

And I got my kids sitting out here in 90 degree weather in a hot car with no place to go

– Shamika Jones talks about her family being stranded in Atlanta. Once the local media aired her story, she found out that lots of people cared.

Too bad one group was an auto dealer with no idea that giving this family a Chevy Suburban probably wasnt a good idea, being that they are homeless, out of work, and most likely cannot afford the gas to move the vehicle.

Arnold Schwarzenegger & Global Warming

Well, to be honest with you, if they would have done something this year, I would have thought it was bogus anyway… because you don’t change global warming and you don’t really have an effect by doing something six months before you leave office

It doesn’t sound to me believable at all. The sincerity is not there

I think that the way they have done it is much better, because it just really means basically this administration did not believe in global warming, or they did not believe that they should do anything about it since China is not doing anything about it and since India is not willing to do the same thing, so why should we do the same thing

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger talks about the Bush administrations stance on global warming.

Quoting Bill Clinton

Underneath this apparent accommodation to our diversity, we are in fact hunkering down in communities of like-mindedness, and it affects our ability to manage difference

We were sorting ourselves out by choosing to live with people that we agree with

We’re about to go into the most exciting period of human history

Quoting Bill Clinton, somewhat out of context. Read the entire article to see why it’s important for the media to give us the whole story and not just the soundbites.

It’s A Ghost Town Out There

At several properties, there were a significant number of fully built homes sitting vacant along with a large number of additional homes still under construction

At one master plan community, the entire development appeared to be vacant — with the exception of crews working on new construction, it was a ghost town

The homes all appeared to be empty, and there were no prospective buyers anywhere to be found. Surprisingly, the sales office was open … but the woman working there had questionable English fluency. When asked how many homes had been sold in the past month she simply responded, ‘Uh huh. Thank you. Yes!’ and handed us some additional literature on the property

Perhaps the most interesting aspect to the development was what it revealed about the nature of the housing boom: that at the peak even the most undesirable and remote locations were worthy of expensive, high-end homes

Analyst Aaron Deer talks about the housing market in the Inland Empire.

With the exception the exorbitant prices, aren’t we seeing this all across America?
