The Hypocrite In Chief Speaks

Done right, earmarks have given legislators the opportunity to direct federal money to worthy projects that benefit people in their districts

And that’s why I’ve opposed their outright elimination

– President Barack Obama talks about the stimulus bill that passed with thousands of earmarks attached.

I’ll leave it up to you to find his speeches stating he was against earmarks (hint: there’s more than just a few).
