I have decided not to compete in the primaries in Kadima
I will resign from my role as prime minister to allow a new leader to form a new government efficiently and quickly
– Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announces he is stepping down. Of course, this comes at a time when he is facing possible corruption charges, so it’s only natural for him to want to get out of the public eye as soon as possible.
