“If you have a social need, you’re with Hillary”

“If you want Obama to be your imaginary hip black friend and you’re young and you have no social needs, then he’s cool”

John Kerry wants us to forget the past. If we forget the past, we forget everything he has done too, which would be really nice, for him anyway.

I’m so glad he took the time today to point out that Barack Obama is younger than Hillary Clinton. I wouldn’t have known if he didn’t tell me. I hang on every word he speaks. Wait, no, I got that wrong. I want to hang myself every time he speaks.

“Who better than Barack Obama to turn a new page in American politics?”

It’s not easy. It’s not easy

And I couldn’t do it if I just didn’t, you know, passionately believe it was the right thing to do

If there is any hope for the long term success of democracy, it will be if people agree to listen to and try to understand their political opponents rather than simply seeking to crush them.

This is a new day, this is a new state

We can’t have false hopes. We’ve got to have a person who can walk into that Oval office on day one and start doing the hard work that it takes to deliver change

I feel that we executed what we thought was the limit of what we could produce in Iowa under the circumstances that we were facing

“A discussion took place today between Jay Leno and the Writers Guild to clarify to him that writing for ‘The Tonight Show’ constitutes a violation of the guild’s strike rules”

The negatives feel good

It’s like being a boxer when you’re young. To me, hitting somebody, knocking somebody down, is a great feeling. Firing out a negative ad just feels amazing

What I have to do is make sure that my anger with a guy like Romney, whose teeth I want to knock out, doesn’t get in the way of my thought process
