Barack Obama And Foreign Affairs

“I spent four years living overseas when I was a child living in Southeast Asia”

“A lot of my knowledge about foreign affairs is not what I just studied in school. It’s actually having the knowledge of how ordinary people in these other countries live”

“It’s very hard for you to make good foreign policy decisions. Foreign policy is all about judgment”

“It’s understanding what the world looks like from the outside”

Very few people have seen what the world looks like from the outside, let alone understand it.

    nice qoutes.

Truth is, no can really predict how a President is going to conduct foreign policy, regardless of years or decades of experience. Maybe all incoming Presidents should be made to take a vow of ‘First do no harm’….As for Obama, well, I suspect that he’s more hard nosed than we realize.
